Rebecca Henderson (born June 4, 1980, in Toronto, Canada) is a versatile Canadian actress well-known for her work across film, television, and theatre, often gravitating toward smart, character-driven projects. After moving to New York for college, she earned an M.F.A. degree from Columbia University. Henderson gained significant popular recognition for her recurring role as Lizzy in the critically acclaimed Netflix series Russian Doll, which was co-created by her real-life wife, writer-director Leslye Headland. Her television career also includes main roles like Olivia, a lesbian journalist and AA sponsor, in the Freeform series Single Drunk Female, and the recent role of Vernestra Rwoh in the Star Wars Disney+ series The Acolyte (also created by Leslye Headland). In film, she has appeared in several independent features, including Appropriate Behavior (2014), Mickey and the Bear (2019), and Werewolves Within (2021). She frequently collaborates with actress Sigourney Weaver, having appeared with her in the films The Good House (2021), Call Jane (2022), and, most recently, in Bryan Fuller’s horror-fantasy feature, Dust Bunny (2025). Her stage career is also decorated; she received a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble performance for the 2015 revival of The Wayside Motor Inn.
