Remy Hii

Remy Hii is an Australian actor, born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. He moved to Townsville, Queensland, with his parents when he was eight. Hii attended the Queensland University of Technology and is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, where he studied from 2009 to 2011. He began his professional career in theatre with the Queensland Theatre Company and then transitioned to television, receiving his big break as the series lead, Van Tuong Nguyen, in the four-part miniseries Better Man in 2013, a role for which he won the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding Newcomer. He also had a recurring role in the soap opera Neighbours as Hudson Walsh. Hii gained international recognition as Prince Jingim in the Netflix original series Marco Polo (2014-2016) and for his supporting film roles as Alistair Cheng in the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and Brad Davis in the Marvel film Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). His other notable television work includes playing Simon Van Reyk in the Australian crime drama Harrow and Dalbert Tan in the Netflix comedy-drama Wellmania (2023). He also has voice acting credits, including Bunniguru in the animated film Scarygirl (2023) and a voice role as Benji in the upcoming film The Pout-Pout Fish (2026).
