Renée Danielle Willett (born December 11, 1992 in New York City) is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She earned a BA in Economics, Spanish, and Theatre from the University of Southern California in 2014, and went on to complete an MBA in film finance at USC’s Marshall School of Business in 2019. A former junior tennis prodigy, Willett trained at IMG Academy before shifting her focus toward the arts . She studied acting in New York and Los Angeles—training at the William Esper Studio and comedy groups Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings. Willett made her screen debut in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! in 2015. She went on to appear in The Comedian (2016) with Robert De Niro, Blind (2017), and The Yellow Birds (2017). She has also acted in and produced Beast of Burden and Run with the Hunted (executive producer), and co-produced Blind and The Comedian . Alongside acting, Willett performs stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy across New York City and Los Angeles. She launched her stand-up career at Comic Strip Live and developed her skills under the mentorship of Andrew Dice Clay. A committed philanthropist, Willett is a Global Ambassador or board member for several causes including United Hatzalah, the USC Shoah Foundation, the Robin Hood Foundation, Shalva Children’s Center, and Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program. In 2019, she received the Rising Star Award at the NYC International Film Festival and has hosted major charity galas, raising significant funds. Outside the professional spotlight, she is a multilingual globetrotter and creative enthusiast—enjoying tennis, painting, snowboarding, Muay Thai, and language learning (Spanish and Hebrew among others) .
