Reza Diako
Reza Diako is an English-Persian actor of Austrian nationality and Iranian descent, born on May 6, 1993, in Geneva, Switzerland. His childhood involved moving between Switzerland, Iran, Vienna (Austria), and London, which contributed to his bilingualism in English and Farsi. Before transitioning to acting, Diako pursued a comprehensive academic path that included studying psychology at Queen Mary University of London, a master's in Mental Health Studies at King's College London, and two years of medical school at the University of Bristol. He trained formally at various institutions, including the Identity School of Acting and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Diako is widely known for taking over the role of Apostle Philip in Season 4 of the television series The Chosen. His film and TV credits include the role of Shahin in the Apple TV series Tehran, Basir in the Netflix drama The Diplomat, a supporting role in Guy Ritchie's The Covenant, Zak in I Hate Suzie Too, and Bahri in the upcoming film Reading Lolita in Tehran.
