Rhys Coiro is an American actor born on March 12, 1979, in Calabria, Italy, to an Italian father and an Irish-American mother. He embarked on his acting journey on Broadway before becoming widely recognized for his on-screen roles. He is best known for his portrayal of the eccentric film director Billy Walsh in the HBO series Entourage, a role he played for six seasons. Coiro is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a BFA, and also studied at The Moscow Art Theater in Russia.His extensive filmography includes appearances in movies such as 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010), Straw Dogs (2011), MacGruber (2010), Hustlers (2019), and the upcoming Rust (2024). On the television front, beyond Entourage, he has had significant roles as FBI Agent Sean Hillinger in 24, Vincent Bianchi in Ugly Betty, and Donny Blaze in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. He has also made guest appearances in numerous popular series like Six Feet Under, CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds, Hawaii Five-0, Dexter, Longmire, The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, The Mandalorian, and The Penguin. Coiro is married to director Kat Coiro, and they have three children.
