Richard Chevolleau

Richard Chevolleau is a Jamaican-Canadian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer, born in Kingston, Jamaica, in October 1966. He moved to Toronto with his family at the age of 10. Chevolleau began his acting career in high school and later studied the Meisner Technique under Paul Bardier, also training at the Maggie Bassett Studio. He is best known for his role as Augur in the science fiction series Earth: Final Conflict (1997–2002). His film credits include Narc (2002), Lie with Me (2005), Four Brothers (2005), and Talk to Me (2007). On television, he has appeared in series such as Street Time, This Is Wonderland, 'Da Kink in My Hair, Lost Girl, She's the Mayor, Saving Hope, Hannibal, Blood and Water, Killjoys, Hudson & Rex, and Murdoch Mysteries. In 2004, Chevolleau won a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Guest Role in a Dramatic Series for his role in the television series The Eleventh Hour. Expanding his creative endeavors, Chevolleau is set to direct, write, and produce the short film Marvelous Marvin, which is scheduled to begin production in the summer of 2024. The film follows a young boy who, inspired by superhero comics, adopts the persona of "Marvelous Marvin" to confront his schoolyard bully. The project reflects Chevolleau's commitment to storytelling and his multifaceted involvement in the entertainment industry.
