Richard Coyle
Richard Coyle is an English actor born on February 6, 1972, in Sheffield, England. He is the second youngest of five sons. After graduating from the University of York with a degree in Language and Philosophy, Coyle pursued acting, attending the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he graduated in 1998. Coyle's career spans television, film, and theater. He gained prominence in the early 2000s with his role as Jeff Murdock in the BBC sitcom Coupling and later portrayed Father Faustus Blackwood in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. In the Fantastic Beasts franchise, he plays Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore's younger brother, in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022). Beyond acting, Coyle has narrated several audiobooks, including works by H.P. Lovecraft and Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Coyle was previously married to actress Georgia Mackenzie, and from 2011 to 2017, he was in a relationship with actress Ruth Bradley .
