Ricky Russert
Ricky Russert (born July 22, 1983, in Kennewick, Washington) is an American actor, producer, and writer who’s built a diverse career across film and television. A former collegiate baseball player on scholarship, he pivoted to theater while at Washington State University, appearing in lead roles in stage productions like Othello and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. After graduating in 2005, Russert moved to Los Angeles and debuted onscreen in the HBO movie Walkout and the short film All’s Fair. In 2008, he founded his own production company, Triple R Entertainment, and began collaborating with industry veterans. Russert has appeared in notable TV series, including as Tommy Littlestone on Banshee, Chris in The Walking Dead, Frank in Mr. Mercedes, and Lt. Samuel Diaz in MacGyver. He also co-wrote, produced, and starred in the indie short Sllip (2016). On film, he portrayed Shane Stant in the critically acclaimed I, Tonya, and appeared in Ride Along 2 and Outer Banks. In the 2025 action thriller Off the Grid, he plays Marcus alongside Josh Duhamel and Greg Kinnear.
