Riddhi Kumar is a rising Indian actress and model, born in Pune, Maharashtra, into a disciplined military family. Her father, an officer in the Indian Army, was stationed in various locations throughout her childhood, leading her to attend the Army Public School in Pune before she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the prestigious Fergusson College. A trained Kathak dancer, she initially balanced her studies with a career in modeling and pageantry, winning titles such as Face of India 2016 and Yamaha Miss Fascino. Her transition to acting was unplanned; she was spotted by a casting agent during a fashion assignment, which led to her debut as the lead actress in the Telugu romantic drama Lover (2018), where she played a Malayali nurse named Charita. Since her debut, she has quickly expanded her footprint across regional and digital platforms, making her Malayalam debut in Pranaya Meenukalude Kadal (2019) and her Marathi debut in Dandam (2019).
