Robin McLeavy

Robin McLeavy is an Australian actress born on June 19, 1981, in Sydney. She is a graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), completing her degree in performing arts in 2004. McLeavy is perhaps best known to international audiences for her long-running role as Eva, a former prostitute with a distinctive chin tattoo, in the American television Western series Hell on Wheels from 2011 to 2016. Her film career includes the critically acclaimed role of the deranged killer Lola "Princess" Stone in the Australian horror film The Loved Ones (2009), which earned her a Fangoria Chainsaw Award nomination for Best Leading Actress. She has also appeared in the feature films Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) as Nancy Lincoln, and more recently, in the Australian mystery thriller Force of Nature: The Dry 2 (2024). In theatre, McLeavy's work has been highly praised; she won a Helen Hayes Award in 2010 for Outstanding Supporting Performer, Visiting Production, for her role as Stella Kowalski in the Sydney Theatre Company's production of A Streetcar Named Desire, opposite Cate Blanchett. Her other TV credits include roles in Australian series like Last Man Standing, All Saints, and The Newsreader.
