Roc LaFortune (born December 21, 1956, in Lachute, Québec, Canada) is a veteran Canadian actor and screenwriter known for his extensive work in both French and English-language film and television. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Julien in the popular Quebec comedy film series Les Boys, which solidified his place in Quebec’s cultural landscape. Over the years, he has appeared in a wide range of productions, including films like Airspeed, Beastly, Aline: The Voice of Love, and the 2023 thriller The G, where he played Joseph. On television, he has taken on significant roles in series such as Omertà: La loi du silence, Le Négociateur, À cœur battant, and Doute raisonnable. Beyond acting, LaFortune has also contributed as a screenwriter and has lent his voice to characters in video games, notably the French version of Assassin’s Creed II.
