His path to acting started when, at just six years old, he was spotted by a casting director while playing baseball. This serendipitous encounter led to his acting debut as Gary Sadelstein, Adam Sandler's adopted son, in the 2011 comedy Jack and Jill.Following this start, Chand quickly expanded his filmography. He appeared in an episode of the acclaimed Showtime series Homeland in 2011 and took on a role in the 2013 film Lone Survivor, where he portrayed the son of an Afghan who aids an American Navy SEAL.
