Rohit Saraf

Rohit Saraf is a popular Indian actor, often referred to as the "National Crush" for his charming on-screen presence, who works predominantly in Hindi films and web series. Born on December 8, 1996, in Kathmandu, Nepal, he moved to Delhi and later to Mumbai at the age of 15 to pursue his late father's dream of him becoming an actor. Saraf began his career in television, featuring in teen dramas like Best Friends Forever?, before making his film debut in a supporting role as Alia Bhatt's younger brother in the critically acclaimed film Dear Zindagi (2016). He gained international exposure with the Norwegian film What Will People Say (2017) and continued with notable roles in Bollywood films such as the Rani Mukerji-starrer Hichki (2018), the biographical drama The Sky Is Pink (2019) alongside Priyanka Chopra, and Anurag Basu's black comedy Ludo (2020). However, he achieved massive widespread fame and youth adoration for his lead role as the romantic Rishi Singh Sekhawat in the Netflix romantic comedy series Mismatched (2020–2024). In 2024, he landed his first Hindi film lead role in the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk Rebound and is part of the ensemble cast for the Dharma Productions film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (2025). He was recognized by Forbes Asia by being included in their 30 Under 30 list in 2025.
