Rona-Lee Shim'on is an Israeli actress, dancer, and model, born on January 9, 1983, in Ramat Gan, Israel. She began her career as a professional dancer, studying ballet from a young age and attending the Royal Ballet Academy in Amsterdam on a full scholarship.Shim'on gained international fame for her leading role as Nurit in the critically acclaimed Israeli political thriller series Fauda. Her character is the only woman in an Israeli counter-terrorism unit, and for the role, Shim'on performed her own stunts and underwent training in firearm handling, Krav Maga, and kickboxing.In addition to her work in Fauda, she has appeared in a variety of other television shows and films. Her credits include the Netflix series Messiah, the film Black Lotus (2023), and the 2024 action thriller Dirty Angels, where she plays a character named Rocky. She is also set to appear in the upcoming series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (2025).
