Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike is a highly acclaimed British actress, born on January 27, 1979, in Hammersmith, London, to opera singer parents. Her artistic upbringing meant a childhood spent traveling across Europe, fostering an early appreciation for the arts. Pike attended Badminton School in Bristol and began acting with the National Youth Theatre, where her performance in "Romeo and Juliet" at age 17 caught the eye of an agent.
