Rosanna Arquette is an American actress, film director, and producer born on August 10, 1959, in New York City. Hailing from the well-known Arquette acting family, she is the sister of actors Patricia, Alexis, Richmond, and David Arquette. Arquette began her career in the late 1970s, with early roles in television films like The Executioner's Song (1982), which earned her an Emmy Award nomination. Her breakout role came in 1985 as the title character in Desperately Seeking Susan, for which she won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.Throughout her career, Arquette has worked with some of the most acclaimed directors in the film industry, including Martin Scorsese in After Hours (1985) and Quentin Tarantino in her memorable role as Jody in Pulp Fiction (1994). She has also appeared in a wide range of films, from the French cult classic The Big Blue (1988) to the psychological thriller Crash (1996) and the comedy The Whole Nine Yards (2000).In addition to her acting work, Arquette has also ventured into directing and producing.
