Rya Kihlstedt is an American actress and visual artist, born on July 23, 1970, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Theatre and began her acting career in the early 1990s. Kihlstedt gained recognition for her role as Alice Ribbons in the 1997 film Home Alone 3 and appeared in Deep Impact (1998). She took a break from acting to focus on raising her two children, returning to the screen in 2009. Since then, she has had notable roles in television series such as Dexter, Nashville, Heroes Reborn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Superman & Lois. In addition to acting, Kihlstedt is a visual artist, creating expressive collages and sharing her work on social media platforms. She was married to actor Gil Bellows from 1994 until their separation in 2021.
