Shaheb Chattopadhyay, popularly known as Saheb Chatterjee, is a prominent Bengali actor and singer renowned for his work in Tollywood films and Bengali television. Born in Kolkata, he is an alumnus of Dakshinee, a prestigious Rabindrasangeet institution in the city. His artistic journey encompasses acting, singing—particularly Rabindra Sangeet—and stage performances. Saheb gained widespread recognition through his roles in popular Bengali TV serials such as Potol Kumar Ganwala (Star Jalsha), where he portrayed Sujon Kumar, and Goyenda Ginni (Zee Bangla), where he played Dr. Porimal Mitra, the husband of the protagonist Parama Mitra. He also starred as the king of Bhawal in Sanyasi Raja on Star Jalsha. In addition to his television work, Saheb has appeared in several Bengali films, including Shukno Lanka, 033, Hatyapuri, Mon Amour, and Hridpindo. Notably, he portrayed Swami Vivekananda in the English play Oneness: Voice Without Form at the Sydney Opera House in 2013. Beyond acting, Saheb has showcased his singing talent in various stage performances across North America, Canada, Bangladesh, and Dubai.
