Sam Gittins is a British actor who was born on March 20, 1993, in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. An alumnus of the BRIT school in London, he began working professionally as an actor since the age of eighteen, making his acting debut in the short film Driftwood (2012), for which he won Best Actor at the Southampton International Film Festival. Gittins has appeared in a variety of television series, including recurring roles in Holby City (2013), The Smoke (2014), Ripper Street (2014), and EastEnders (2016-17). His notable film credits include Howl (2015), Await Further Instructions (2018), Obey (2018), and Ray & Liz (2018), as well as more recent features like The Liberator (2020) and Wolves of War (2022). Prior to acting, he had an interest in amateur boxing and considered going into it professionally, but was encouraged by his mother to audition for the BRIT school.
