Sam Huntington is an American actor born on April 1, 1982, in Peterborough, New Hampshire. His mother, Christine Stabile, owned a Black Box Theatre, which is where Huntington began his acting career at a young age. He is also the great-nephew of actor Ralph Bellamy.Huntington's career spans both film and television, often showcasing his versatility in various genres. He first gained significant recognition as Mimi-Siku in the 1997 Disney film "Jungle 2 Jungle," starring opposite Tim Allen. Another notable early role was in "Detroit Rock City" (1999). He became widely known for playing Jimmy Olsen in Bryan Singer's 2006 superhero film "Superman Returns."On the television front, Huntington is perhaps best recognized for his lead role as Josh Levison, a werewolf, in the Syfy series "Being Human" (2011–2014). He also had a memorable role as Luke Haldeman in the "Veronica Mars" series and film. Other prominent credits include "Not Another Teen Movie" (2001), "Fanboys" (2009), "Dylan Dog: Dead of Night" (2011), and "Sully" (2016).
