
Samira Mighty
Samira Mighty, born on November 16, 1995, in Greenwich, England, is an English television personality, actress, and singer. From a young age, she pursued a career in performing arts, attending the Young Dancers Academy in West London and later training at the Millennium Performing Arts College in Woolwich for three years. There, she honed her skills in jazz, ballet, contemporary, tap, and commercial dance styles, as well as singing.Mighty began her professional career in West End theatre, with notable appearances in productions such as "Mamma Mia!", "The Nutcracker", and "Dreamgirls". In 2017, she also made her film debut as a debutante in "Beauty and the Beast". She gained widespread public recognition in 2018 when she appeared as a contestant on the fourth series of the ITV2 reality show "Love Island," which she later walked from.Following her time on "Love Island," Mighty hosted the Facebook Watch game show "Confetti." In 2019, she showcased her vocal talents on "The X Factor: Celebrity," where she was part of the group "No Love Lost" alongside fellow "Love Island" cast members. After the group's elimination, she announced her focus on a solo music career. She released her debut single, a cover of "I Love Your Smile," in July 2022, and has continued to release music, including her EP "Dancefloor & Drama - Vol 1." in 2024. Mighty is also set to appear in the 2025 film "Bambi: The Reckoning" as Harriet. She is also known for her social media presence and her advocacy for body positivity and protecting wildlife.
