Sara Khorami
Sara Khorami is a highly regarded Norwegian actress, born in 1987 in Oslo, who has established a prominent career across stage, film, and television. She received her training at Det Norske Teatret's Teaterskole Det Multinorske, a specialized program for drama students with family backgrounds outside of Europe. Following her graduation, she became a permanent member of Det Norske Teatret (The Norwegian Theatre) ensemble, where she has received significant acclaim for stage roles such as Antigone and Kristin in Kristin Lavransdotter, the latter earning her the prestigious Hedda Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2023. On screen, Khorami is known for a variety of roles in popular Norwegian series, including Journalist Aida Salim in Heksejakt (Witch Hunt), for which she won the Gullruten Award for Best Supporting Role in 2020, as well as roles in Made in Oslo and Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes. She also won the Amanda Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2022 for the film Nothing to Laugh About. Most recently, she joined the cast of the major Norwegian film production Troll 2 (2025) which premiered on Netflix.
