
Sarah Esberg
Sarah Esberg is an accomplished film and television producer currently serving as the President of Goddard Textiles, the production company founded by writer-director Drew Goddard. Before joining Goddard Textiles, she established her career during a significant tenure at Plan B Entertainment, Brad Pitt’s production company. Esberg is widely recognized for executive producing a prestigious slate of filmmaker-driven projects, including the Academy Award-winning Moonlight, Barry Jenkins’ If Beale Street Could Talk, Bong Joon-ho’s Okja, and the drama Beautiful Boy. Her television credits are equally notable, featuring high-concept series such as Netflix’s The OA and the Starz drama Sweetbitter. In her current role, she is overseeing several major productions, including the highly anticipated 2026 sci-fi epic Project Hail Mary and a new installment in The Matrix franchise. She is also an executive producer on the ABC crime-comedy series High Potential. Esberg’s career began in independent cinema, where she produced low-budget films for Roger Corman’s production company. Academically, she holds degrees from Stanford University and the UCLA School of Law.
