Sarah Lynn Gadon is a Canadian actress born on April 4, 1987, in Toronto, Ontario. She began her career at a young age, training as a dancer and attending the National Ballet School of Canada. Gadon made her acting debut at age 11 in an episode of La Femme Nikita and continued to take on guest roles in various television series, including Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Mutant X, while also doing voice work for animated shows. She has also appeared in a number of television films, such as Cadet Kelly and Mom's on Strike.Gadon is particularly known for her collaborations with Canadian director David Cronenberg, starring in his films A Dangerous Method (2011), Cosmopolis (2012), and Maps to the Stars (2014). Her work with Cronenberg helped establish her as a prominent actress in the Canadian film industry. She has also had notable roles in other films, including Denis Villeneuve's Enemy (2013), the period drama Belle (2013), and the action horror film Dracula Untold (2014), where she played Dracula's wife.
