Sarah Yarkin, born on May 28, 1993, in Alameda, California, is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She trained at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. Yarkin has established a career in both television and film, often taking on roles in the horror and comedy genres. She is known for her role as Dre Morgan in Happy Death Day 2U (2019) and as Libba Swythe in the TV series Motherland: Fort Salem (2020). Her most prominent role to date is as Melody, the main protagonist who seeks to gentrify a ghost town only to awaken the killer Leatherface, in the 2022 film Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yarkin has also appeared in a number of other projects, including the 2022 film Not Okay and the 2023 TV series School Spirits. In addition to acting, she is also a musician who released her first album in 2022.
