Saurabh Shukla is a highly acclaimed Indian actor, screenwriter, and film director who has made a significant mark in the Hindi film industry. He began his professional career in theatre in 1984 and went on to work with the National School of Drama. His early television work included the popular crime drama series Tehkikaat in the 1990s.His major breakthrough came with the 1998 cult classic film Satya, for which he not only co-wrote the script with Anurag Kashyap but also delivered a memorable performance as the gangster "Kallu Mama." For his work on the film, he won the Star Screen Award for Best Screenplay.Saurabh Shukla has since appeared in a vast number of films, showcasing his ability to inhabit a wide range of characters, from comedic to dramatic and villainous. Some of his most celebrated roles include his performance as Justice Sunderlal Tripathi in Jolly LLB (2013), a role that earned him the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
