Saycon Sengbloh is an American actress and singer who has a prominent career in both theater and on-screen. She is a Tony Award-nominated actress, known for her powerful vocal performances and versatility across different genres. Sengbloh began her career on Broadway, where she was nominated for a Tony Award for her role as a replacement actress in the musical Eclipsed (2016). Her other notable Broadway credits include Motown: The Musical, Wicked, and The Color Purple. She is also known for originating the role of Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked. In television, she has held a number of recurring and main roles, including as Jillian on the sitcom In the Dark (2019–2022) and as Jennifer on the dramedy Love, Brooklyn (2025).
