Scaredy Kat

Ally Cubb, formerly known by the drag name Scaredy Kat, is a British drag performer, comedian, actor, writer, and musician, born as Alex Cubb in 1998 or 1999 in Birmingham, England, and is from Wiltshire. They are best known for competing on series one of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, where, at the time of filming, they were the youngest drag queen to compete in the British series and one of the few contestants who is not gay. Ally Cubb identifies as bisexual and has been in a relationship with a drag performer named Pussy Kat (a "bio queen" who presents as a female in drag), with whom they are also artistic collaborators. Out of drag, Ally was studying art at the time of Drag Race and has a background in drawing and cartoons, which influences their "weird arty-freaky" drag aesthetic. Beyond drag, Ally Cubb is a vegan and animal rights activist, having worked with PETA UK on anti-fur campaigns. They have an acting and comedy career, appearing on television shows like Channel 4's Reasons to be Cheerful with Matt Lucas and BBC Three's Pls Like, as well as the Netflix film The School for Good and Evil in 2022 as Gregor, and Mothering Sunday in 2021 as Richard. As a musician, they have released singles including "Bedroom Queen" (2019) and "Not That into Me" (2023). Ally Cubb and Pussy Kat also co-created and co-wrote the surreal comedy sketch show, The Bare & Klare Show.
