Scott Jaeck is an American actor born on October 29, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, graduating in 1973, and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Jaeck is known for his extensive work across theater, film, and television, with some of his most recognized television roles including Cain Garver on NBC's Santa Barbara, Dr. Steven Flint on NBC's ER, and Mr. Chapman on FOX's Beverly Hills, 90210. His other TV credits span decades, including roles such as Sam Wilder on Charmed, Richard Randolph on The Bold and the Beautiful, and appearances on shows like Seinfeld, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: Voyager. A highly regarded theater actor, Jaeck has performed regionally, with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and on Broadway, where his credits include Sheriff Deon Gilbeau in August: Osage County, Wayne in Airline Highway, and his debut as Hank in The Night of the Iguana. He was married to actress Mariann Mayberry, an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theater Company, until her death in 2017.
