Scott Swope
Scott Swope is an American actor who plays the character Angus in the 2025 horror film "Popeye the Slayer Man." In the movie, Angus is part of the group of friends who unwisely decide to investigate the urban legend of the "Sailor Man" at an abandoned spinach canning factory. Beyond this role, Scott Swope has an extensive acting career spanning film and television. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he is a former Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Maryland and an analyst for the Department of Defense. Swope played college football and even had tryouts with the NFL. His acting credits include appearances in "Wonder Woman 84," "Mount Hideaway," "The Night Watchmen," and the TV series "House of Cards" and "VEEP." He has often been cast in roles requiring a strong and intimidating presence, such as law enforcement figures or "heavy type" characters.
