Sebiye Behtiyar
Sebiye Behtiyar is an actress known for her role in the 2025 film Preparation for the Next Life, directed by Bing Liu. In the film, she stars as Aishe, an undocumented Uyghur immigrant living in New York City. The film, which also stars Fred Hechinger, is based on the novel by Atticus Lish and follows the story of a young immigrant woman and a returning soldier with PTSD who find solace in each other. Prior to her lead role in this film, Behtiyar had roles in other projects as well.
