Seo Ju-hyun (born June 28, 1991), professionally known as Seohyun, is a South Korean singer, actress, and songwriter. She first rose to prominence as the youngest member of the incredibly successful K-pop girl group Girls' Generation, which debuted in 2007. The group became one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and gained significant international recognition. Seohyun also participated in the Girls' Generation sub-unit TTS (Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun).Beyond her musical endeavors, Seohyun has cultivated a thriving acting career. She began with smaller roles, including in the drama "Passionate Love" (2013) and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (2016). She took on lead roles in dramas like "Bad Thief, Good Thief" (2017), "Time" (2018), "Private Lives" (2020), and "Jinxed at First" (2022). Her film work includes "Love and Leashes" (2022) and the upcoming "Holy Night: Demon Hunters" (2025), where she plays the character Sharon. She has also appeared in stage musicals such as "Moon Embracing the Sun" and "Mamma Mia." In 2017, she embarked on a solo music career with her extended play "Don't Say No." While she later left SM Entertainment to focus more on acting, she remains a member of Girls' Generation.
