Serhat Nalbantoğlu is a seasoned Turkish actor and director, born on March 7, 1959, in Eskişehir, Turkey. He completed his theater education at the Ankara State Conservatory Theater Department and began his professional career at the Ankara State Theater, where he performed in numerous productions. In 1987, he was appointed to the newly established Trabzon State Theater and became its director in 1989, a position he held until 1991. Following this, he returned to the Ankara State Theater and continued his work both as an actor and a director, contributing to various successful productions. In the 2006–2007 season, Nalbantoğlu relocated to Istanbul and co-founded Tiyatro Seyirlik with fellow actor Hüseyin Avni Danyal. However, in 2007, he returned to the Ankara State Theater as a director. Beyond his theater work, Nalbantoğlu has appeared in numerous television series and films, including notable roles in "Kırmızı Oda," "Savaşçı," "Deniz Yıldızı," and "Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi." He also portrayed the character Rüstem in the historical drama "Hürrem Sultan." In 2024, Nalbantoğlu featured in the Netflix film Chasing the Wind (Rüzgara Bırak), portraying the character Nazmi. With a career spanning over four decades, Serhat Nalbantoğlu is recognized for his versatility and dedication to Turkish theater and screen acting.
