Shamier Anderson

Shamier Anderson is a Canadian actor born on May 6, 1991, in Toronto, Ontario. Raised by a single mother alongside his two brothers, he is the older brother of actor Stephan James. Anderson graduated from the Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts and studied criminology before pursuing his acting career. He is also trained in the martial art of Wing Chun Kung Fu.Anderson's career began in 2009 with a role in the television series Overruled! and he has since appeared in numerous films and TV shows. He is well-known for his role as U.S. Deputy Marshal Xavier Dolls in the supernatural Western series Wynonna Earp and as Trevante Cole in the science fiction series Invasion. His film credits include prominent roles such as the Tracker/Mr. Nobody in John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), and Michael Adams in the Netflix film Stowaway (2021). He also has a number of upcoming projects, including the 2025 film Tin Soldier where he is credited as Kivon Jackson. Beyond his acting, Anderson is a co-founder of the B.L.A.C.K. (Building a Legacy in Acting, Cinema and Knowledge) Academy, an organization that aims to support and showcase Black Canadian talent.
