Shannon Xiao Lóng Kook-Chun (born February 9, 1987), known professionally as Shannon Kook, is a South African actor who is based in Canada. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to a father of Chinese descent from Mauritius and a South African mother of Cape Coloured descent. He later moved to Montreal to attend the National Theatre School of Canada. Kook is widely recognized for his role as Drew Thomas, a member of Ed and Lorraine Warren's paranormal investigation team, in The Conjuring franchise, appearing in The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. He is set to reprise his role in the upcoming film, The Conjuring: Last Rites. In television, he is known for his roles as Zane Park on Degrassi: The Next Generation, Jordan Green on The 100, and Tony Swan on Reacher.
