Sid Makkar
Siddharth "Sid" Makkar is an Indian actor who has established a notable presence across Indian, American, British, and Australian film, television, and theatre. Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Sid Makkar's career spans from 2006 to the present day. He initially pursued studies at the University of Texas before embarking on his acting journey.Makkar has a diverse filmography that includes successful international projects. He gained recognition for his role as Jay in the critically acclaimed British film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012) and its sequel The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015), which featured a star-studded cast including Judi Dench and Dev Patel. He also appeared in the Australian film Save Your Legs! (2012). On the Hollywood front, he was part of the cult favorite Netflix series Sense8 (Season 2, 2017) by the Wachowskis and the independent American film Offshore (2006).In Indian cinema, Sid Makkar has been part of various films, including Zoya Akhtar's directorial debut Luck by Chance (2009), Dus Tola (2010), Turning 30!!! (2011), Straight (2009), and the thriller Hacked (2020) with Hina Khan.
