Siddhartha Shankar

Siddhartha Shankar is an Indian actor who is primarily known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was born on June 14, 1994, and is also known by the name Sid Shankar. Originally from Malaysia, he pursued a career in acting by moving to Chennai. Before his acting career, he was a medical student, a path he decided to leave to pursue his passion for cinema.He has appeared in a number of Tamil films, often in supporting roles, and has also worked in advertisements. Some of his notable film credits include the psychological thriller Saithan (2016), Sathya (2017), Ayngaran (2022), and Kolai (2023). He also appeared in the Telugu film Hatya (2023). Most recently, he gained wider recognition for his role as Venu, the on-screen fiancé of Janhvi Kapoor's character, in the 2025 Hindi film Param Sundari. He has also appeared in the web series Fingertip.
