Sinéad Cusack is an Irish actress with a distinguished career spanning over five decades in theater, film, and television. Born on February 18, 1948, she comes from a renowned acting family; her father was the actor Cyril Cusack, and her sisters Sorcha, Niamh, and half-sister Catherine are also actresses.Cusack began her acting journey at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin before moving to London to join the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Her work on the stage is particularly celebrated, earning her multiple nominations for both Tony and Laurence Olivier Awards.
