Souheila Yacoub is a rising Swiss actress and former professional rhythmic gymnast, born on June 29, 1992, in Geneva, to a Tunisian father and a Flemish mother. Her career path is unique, beginning as a competitive athlete: she was a member of the Swiss National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team and competed in the World Championships in 2009 and 2010. After her gymnastics career ended, she won the title of Miss Suisse Romande 2012, which provided her with a scholarship to study acting at the prestigious Cours Florent in Paris, followed by training at the CNSAD. She gained international recognition for her powerful performances in French cinema, notably in Gaspar Noé's 2018 horror film Climax and starring in the 2020 war drama series No Man's Land. In 2022, she was honored as a European Shooting Star at the Berlinale.
