Her father, Lee Sigman, was an American baseball scout for the New York Yankees, granting her dual U.S. citizenship.Sigman began her career in Mexican television before making her film debut. Her breakthrough role came in 2011 with the critically acclaimed Mexican crime drama "Miss Bala," where she played the leading character, Laura Guerrero. This performance earned her a nomination for a Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award for Best Breakthrough Artist.Her career quickly expanded into international productions. In 2015, she gained significant global recognition for her role as Estrella in the James Bond film "Spectre," becoming only the second Mexican actress to play a Bond girl.
