He has built a notable career, often recognized for his work as a "creature actor" in fantasy films, particularly those directed by Peter Jackson. His most prominent roles include playing the Orcs Grishnakh in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and Gorbag in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), as well as Orcs Fimbul and Grinnah in The Hobbit trilogy.
