Stormee Kipp
Stormee Kipp is a Canadian actor of Blackfeet descent. He is the son of Michelle Kipp and the late Gerad Kipp, and the grandson of Dr. LaNada Warjack, Gigi Kipp, and Loretta Evening. Kipp is perhaps best known for his role as Wasape, a Comanche hunter, in the highly acclaimed 2022 "Predator" prequel film, Prey. This film garnered significant attention for its largely Indigenous cast and its commitment to authentic representation. Kipp actively prepared for the role by getting into physical shape and researching the Comanche Tribe to accurately portray them, including participating in a training camp for battle tactics and learning sign language used in the film. Beyond his acting career, Stormee Kipp is also a student, having been reported to be attending the University of Montana, majoring in psychology or history with an emphasis on Central Asia. He has spoken on panels about Indigenous actors in film and is passionate about ensuring accurate and respectful portrayals of Native communities in media.
