Born on October 5, 1990, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, Abaitua initially trained as a classical dancer before shifting her focus to acting, making her feature film debut in 2008 with La buena nueva (The Good News).Her career gained significant momentum with several major television roles. She earned acclaim and a Feroz Award nomination for her starring role as the missing woman Ana Saura Castro in the whodunnit series Sé quién eres (2017).
