Synnøve Macody Lund is a Norwegian actress, model, journalist, and author, born on May 24, 1976, in Stord, Norway. Standing at 6 feet (1.84 meters), she is known for her commanding presence and versatility across film and television. Lund holds a degree in literature, film, and documentary filmmaking, and has worked as a film critic and editor for the Norwegian arts and culture journal NATT&DAG. Lund began her acting career in 2011 with the lead role of Diana Brown in Headhunters (Hodejegerne), a critically acclaimed Norwegian thriller directed by Morten Tyldum. The film was nominated for a BAFTA and marked her as a rising talent in Scandinavian cinema . In 2023, Lund portrayed Dr. Cecilia Pederson in Saw X, the tenth installment of the Saw franchise.
