Tabitha St. Germain

Tabitha St. Germain (born October 30, 1964) is a prolific American-Canadian actress, voice performer, and comedian, widely regarded as one of the most versatile and influential figures in the North American animation industry. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and later based in Vancouver, British Columbia, she began her career in theatre and radio—winning a Dora Award in 1995 for her performance in the musical Assassins—before transitioning into her legendary status as a voice artist. She is perhaps most internationally celebrated for her work in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic franchise, where she provided the distinct voices for Rarity, Princess Luna, and Granny Smith. Her career, which spans over 35 years and hundreds of credits, includes iconic roles such as the title character in Pucca, Martha in Martha Speaks, Nazz in Ed, Edd n Eddy, and various characters across the Barbie film series, Ninjago, and Transformers universes. In the 2025/2026 animated feature Charlie the Wonderdog, she takes on a prominent and satirically charged role as President Rose. Her character is depicted as a tech-deficient and opportunistic leader who attempts to exploit Charlie’s newfound superhero fame for political gain, adding a layer of sophisticated humor that critics have noted appeals to the adults in the audience. Her performance in the film showcases her ability to balance comedic timing with the sharp, authoritative presence required for a world leader. Beyond her acting, she is an avid gardener and a dedicated member of the Vancouver creative community. With over 700 voice roles to her name, she continues to be a core performer for major studios like Netflix, Disney, and Hasbro, recently earning an Emmy nomination for her work on Zenko Go! in late 2022.
