Tai Bo (太保), born Chang Chia-Nien (張嘉年) on October 21, 1950, is a highly respected Hong Kong-Taiwanese actor known for his extensive career as a character actor. With over 100 film and television credits, he has been a consistent presence in Hong Kong cinema, often working alongside industry legends like Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan.Tai Bo began his career in the film industry in various capacities, including stunt work and minor roles, before gaining prominence as a versatile character actor. He was notably involved with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team on several projects, although not an officially listed member. Some of his early well-known roles include his comedic turn in Corey Yuen's directorial debut, "Ninja in the Dragon's Den" (1982), and appearances in iconic films like "Project A" (1983), "Police Story" (1985), and "Drunken Master II" (1994).In recent years, Tai Bo has received significant critical acclaim for his dramatic performances.
