Takahiro Sakurai (櫻井 孝宏, Sakurai Takahiro; born June 13, 1974) is an extremely prominent and highly prolific Japanese voice actor (seiyū) from Aichi Prefecture, affiliated with Intention. Recognized for his smooth, gentle, and mid-to-high vocal pitch, Sakurai is frequently cast in roles as handsome, mature, often composed, or initially reserved characters who often hide complex, sometimes manipulative, or darker sides. He is widely considered one of the most recognizable voices in modern anime and video games. His career is defined by numerous iconic roles, including the cynical but kind protagonist Cloud Strife in the Final Fantasy VII franchise, the mysterious and morally ambiguous Reigen Arataka in Mob Psycho 100, the charismatic Demon Slayer Giyuu Tomioka in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the cunning and charismatic advisor Suzaku Kururugi in Code Geass, and the manipulative curse user Suguru Geto in the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise.
