Tamara Ristoska
Tamara Ristoska is a Macedonian film and theater actress who has quickly gained international recognition for her work in European cinema and television. Born in 1993 in Skopje, North Macedonia, she graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje in 2017. She first rose to prominence in her home country with her lead role as Jana in the popular TV series The Markovski Family (Familijata Markovski, 2017–2019). Ristoska has since expanded her career across the Balkans and into major international productions, most notably being cast as a Nurse in the 2026 psychological horror film Return to Silent Hill, directed by Christophe Gans. In 2025, she was selected as the only representative from her region to participate in the prestigious Berlinale Talents program at the Berlin International Film Festival, a significant milestone reflecting her status as a rising star in European cinema. Her filmography includes leading and supporting roles in acclaimed projects such as the drama Mimi (2022), the award-winning short Tina's Problem (2021), and the Serbian historical drama Constantine's Crossing.
