Tanya van Graan is a highly versatile South African actress, model, and singer who has built a prolific career across local television and international cinema. Born on December 13, 1983, in Mbombela (Nelspruit) and raised on a game farm, she later moved to Johannesburg to study at the AFDA Film College, where she majored in acting for stage and musicals. She first gained widespread public attention in 2007 when she was named FHM South Africa’s Sexiest Woman in the World, a title that helped launch her into major film roles. In the 2025 action-thriller Muzzle: City of Wolves, she plays Mia Rosser, the wife of protagonist Jake Rosser (Aaron Eckhart). In the film, her character’s life is thrown into chaos when their family—including a newborn child—is targeted by a vengeful drug cartel, forcing her to navigate a dangerous environment alongside her husband.
