Taylor Trensch is an accomplished American stage and film actor, born on May 3, 1989, in Tampa, Florida. He began his theatrical journey early, studying theatre at Howard W. Blake High School, where he received a college scholarship from the Florida State Thespian Society. He later attended Elon University's musical theatre program for two years before embarking on his professional career.Trensch is particularly well-known for his extensive work on Broadway. His notable roles include originating Michael Wormwood in "Matilda the Musical" (2013), playing Christopher Boone in "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" (2014), and Barnaby Tucker in the 2017 revival of "Hello, Dolly!" He then took over the highly coveted title role in "Dear Evan Hansen" (2018) and later portrayed Dill Harris in Aaron Sorkin's adaptation of "To Kill a Mockingbird" (2019).
